It seems to be a Tube Screamer with some snottier attitude. The Waza version rectifies that discrepancy in the "Custom" mode, essentially adding a second "channel" to the pedal.

The two pedals you mention are very different in the way they sound, so it really depends on what sound you are going after. Also, I recently found this website which compares many different OD pedals against one another in a more controlled environment: Google [Bot] and 1 guest. Bosss to me that the Tube Screamer can't do the cleaner settings like the Boss does but the the BD-2 doesn't have as much overdrive ibanz.

I have one on my pedalboard, and it probably won't ever be removed The Blues Driver seems to fit with many rock players who are looking for a blues sound, whereas the Tube Screamer is what many blues players use to raunch up their blues a bit. We are not an instagram feed. My choice among all 4 would be the latest gen of the OCD.
The two pedals are the Ibanez Tubescreamer Ts9? Never played the Keeley BD-2, but from what I understand, the "custom" mode on the Waza Blues Driver is a pretty close approximation of the Keeley mod. Extremely versatile and can fit into almost any rig and sound awesome.
