So the reason the card isn't appearing is nothing to do with the driver but that it isn't showing up on the PCI bus at all.

Thank you both for trying to help out. Sounds like an interrupt problem.

It doesn't really matter because the card doesn't appear at all in pciconf. I came to the conclusion that the memory was somehow damaged.
